The Written Word

You catch the electricity in your imaginary space
Making something physical, symbolic even.
Carved or pressed into a flat hard surface
Sharing a piece of you as a practical conception.

An object to be held and felt and looked upon,
Something that someone can take with them
For the time that their journey carries on
To remind them that you once existed 

And at least once in your life you had a thought 
That you thought was worth sharing.
