Sophie is right and I’m on her side. Charles got them killed, apologized like this was a small marriage oops, and now they’re bullying new homeowners together. Seb, I hate how cute these two ghosts are.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I had to read that 3x back to fully understand the turning point. Full Reader error. I loved it and imagined the whole scene playing out.

Creepy side note: I have a vase fitting that description.

Wrong way taken. Turned left instead of right in my kitchen.

On a plane to Luxembourg now, pray for me.

🙈

Naw, that’s totally fine. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I used to have a vase like that as well which is why I put it in! Thank you for reading.

I liked how the story slowly flips the situation around: at first it feels like a normal couple dealing with another move, and then you realize they’re actually the problem with the house. The ending is light, funny, and works really well with that touch of horror.

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it and the slow flip came across so clearly.

That’s why I didn’t choose this one. 😉

That left me chuckling. Of course, I had a gummy about 20 minutes ago. Maybe can’t go by me. But seriously, it’s funny. Tall guy goes from ominous intruder to weird Uncle Joe. Changing genres can be like expressing the author’s hidden personality. Coincidentally, I’ve been considering experimenting with cozy mystery.
