So many people leave the curtains open…
Brill strolled along the quiet suburban street lined with houses, identities depicted through lawn decorations.
He gazed through a window at a young attractive couple making love, and paused to watch.
To be young and careless…
He noted they only had the screen door closed.
Brill smiled to himself.
That wouldn’t stop an experienced serial killer like himself.
And no doorbell camera?
Brill grinned to the calm midnight sky and bowed graciously.
When life gives you lemons…
He checked both ways, tiptoed up the path, and slipped silently in through the front door.
