Turbulence
A Drabble
A drabble is a short work of fiction, that is exactly one hundred words in length.
The roaring wind rushes passed my face.
The beautiful Earth lies ahead, serene, expanding.
The view is incredible as I plummet through the sky.
I’ve always dreamed of skydiving.
Forced from the plane at gun point was never the expectation.
Are terrorists ever expected?
They’re making everyone jump.
I can see my precious children, flailing hopelessly below.
What kind of future awaits if they survive?
Alone in the world, lost in the wilderness. Knowing your father pushed you first, hoping they’d let him live.
.
I can’t see them anymore.
.
The ground is approaching so quickly!
.
Here

It

.
Comes!

.
.
I’m alive.

You are talented Seb 🫶
Very creative, especially the ending! Loved the use of full stops at the end.
